Grew out of my small Jax home

Grew out of my small Jax home

I may have jumped into buying a home too suddenly.

I got my first real job in Jacksonville, FL.

I could have rented, however I thought it would be smarter to buy a home. That way none of my money is being wasted towards rent. I could service the place up and it would be my forever spot. Well I did not know anything about houses at 23. So I bought a place in the heart of the city. It was tiny, there was no yard, and it was near all the bars. At night or while on holidays it is deranged in my area. When I got married my hubby and I loved the house. When my pal and I had our first child, my pal and I hated the house. Suddenly the home was too small. The yard was pathetic for a growing baby. The neighbors and nightlife was loud and not conducive to naps. Once baby number two arrived, it was time to hunt for a better home. We found a great place just an hour outside of the city. Now my pal and I have an immense yard for the kids to play with. Our neighbors are far away and so are our parents too. Everything closes up shop around 9pm. Even during the major holidays it gets quiet. It was such a smart move. Selling my Jacksonville, FL home was so simple. I didn’t listen to a real estate agent. I just wanted to move, set up my new home, and be done. I wanted an easier, quicker way. After residing in my first home for so long, I didn’t entirely care what I got for its price. The Jacksonville home customer did me a solid though.
